Carwash World is proud to have a great relationship with South Australia’s fuel and convenience station of choice On the Run (OTR). OTR has over 145 locations around South Australia, and Carwash World has supplied car wash equipment to many of them.
This particular fuel station in Naracoorte is far from Adelaide’s metro hub (330 kilometres, to be exact).
On the Run was looking for an Automatic Car Wash that was the leader in reliability. The time and expense of sending their in-house technicians on the road for breakdowns was of major concern to their management team – hence why the LaserWash™ 360 Plus was the automatic car wash of choice.
This was a brand new fuel and convenience build for OTR. The entire wash offer – including both automatic and self serve – is completely cashless.
WORK UNDERTAKEN
On the Run went for the most reliable machine on the market, the LaserWash™ 360 Plus, in order to save future downtime from occurring and their in-house team of technicians being sent to a remote location often.
They included Dryers and OverGlow in their offerings, enhancing the clean and providing a perception of value for the customer.
The cashless payment system is run from the petrol station’s point of sale via Codax integration, which allows customers to drive up to the entry of the touch-free automatic bay, punch in their code and drive on in.
THE RESULTS
In the years since this build was completed, OTR Naracoorte has experienced a range of benefits – for both customers and the business.
They are offering a premium solution for their regional customers, one that allows a significant number of cars to be washed thanks to its speed and reliability. Downtime is at a minimum due to the reliability of the machine, and being entirely cashless in self serve bays leads to less time spent handling money by the site’s staff.
