Breathing new life into a tired old site

Initially this regional NSW site was cleaning approximately 10 cars per day in the automatic. The car wash itself needed a major overhaul as far as updating broken & dated equipment in the self serve bays & improving the chemical delivery. Quality Blendco soaps were introduced in the automatic as well as offering convenient payment options such as credit card facilities. A major emphasis was on improving the overall customer experience & repairing the perception of the wash within the local community.

After: 35-50 cars per day

  • Average dollar in the self serve bay increased from $5-7 on average per car
  • New booms & face plates created an ease-of-use for customers. The new equipment was simply easier to both understand & use.

  • After hours washing was at nearly 0 cars prior to these upgrades & now the site sees many visits outside the hours of 9am – 5pm due to the lighting & cameras giving added security to both customers & the site.
  • Added a Dryer & Overglow system to the Laserwash 360 & changed the entry system to a Hamilton Kiosk offering RFID , discount codes & wash club options.
  • Increased the price of the wash packages & reduced it down to only 3 choices from 4
  • In both the automatic & self serve bays introduced Blendco chemicals from the cheap generic brand that was currently being used resulting in a far superior wash result & reducing cost per wash
  • Self serve bays were upgraded with new booms, simple push button face plates plus the addition of the ever popular Splatterwax with Carnauba
  • Update signage installed, with the top wash taking up the majority of space on the board & highlighted in a different colour. This increased sales of this wash option considerably.
  • Improved lighting & security for after hours cleaning
